Jaylin Sasson Bitters, PA-C

Jaylin Sasson Bitters, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant at South Florida Heart & Vascular, where she provides comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She works closely with Dr. Panchal to evaluate and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions, assist with diagnostic interpretation, support medication management, and help coordinate care before and after cardiovascular procedures.

Jaylin earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University, graduating with high honors. She also holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Long Island University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Her strong foundation in nutrition, biology, and clinical medicine allows her to approach cardiovascular care with a whole-person perspective, recognizing the important role that lifestyle, prevention, and patient education play in long-term heart health.

During her clinical training, Jaylin completed rotations across multiple specialties, including interventional cardiology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, and behavioral health. Her elective rotation in interventional cardiology at South Florida Heart & Vascular helped further develop her interest in cardiovascular medicine and gave her hands-on exposure to the evaluation and management of patients with heart and vascular conditions.

Jaylin’s clinical skills include obtaining and interpreting EKGs, imaging review, procedural assistance, wound care, IV placement, venipuncture, injections, and peri-procedural support. She has also assisted in a variety of surgical and endovascular procedures, including angiograms, venograms, balloon angioplasty, thrombectomy, stent placement, and vascular access procedures.

In addition to her clinical work, Jaylin has a strong academic and research background. She previously worked as a research assistant at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Brookhaven National Laboratory, contributing to scientific research and published work. Her experience in research has strengthened her commitment to evidence-based medicine, careful clinical reasoning, and lifelong learning.

Jaylin is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Florida. She is also certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support through the American Heart Association. She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiology.

Jaylin is passionate about building trusting relationships with patients and helping them feel informed, supported, and confident in their care. Her goal is to provide compassionate, thorough, and patient-centered cardiovascular care to individuals throughout Jupiter and the surrounding Northern Palm Beach County communities.
